How to Choose Embellishments for Scrapbooks

"Hi this is Stephanie, I am going to be talking about choosing embellishments for your page. Embellishments are really important part of your page because they do kind of point to what your picture is about or what your page is about. They enhance your page in lots of different ways. The main thing that people use is themed embellishments, they kind of if you are doing a page about dancing you might want to find little shoes or things like that. For example; here is a page I did with a football theme and I was able to find different themed embellishments. They were the stickers and I found a couple different sources. These stickers here are kind of funny because they say 'Goal' or 'Strive for Excellence' I mean obviously he is not a football player yet but they are cute and go with the theme. There is also a couple of things that don't really go with it, you can just add interest. The little photo turns will just draw your eye to the photo, the little star in the ribbon kind of help and just kind of bring it, maybe someday he is going to be a football star. You can also do layouts where they don't really have a theme, the embellishments. For example; there is no trees or anything in these pictures but these match the colors that I am using and just kind of makes the page look prettier. I used some you know material or little word embellishments, these little tags with brads and they just kind of just go along with the theme and just make your page look more interesting. So just when you are choosing your embellishments you can either go for theme or color or just whatever really suits your fancy."
