"Hi, I am Stephanie. I am going to talk about using foam stamps in your scrapbook. Foam stamps are an easy sort of stamp to use. They are very light, you can find them in a lot of other areas in the store. These I got in the craft section, they were a quarter each. So they are very economical, this one has you know four different designs on it. This one has a bunch too. And you can also buy sets, this one came from a set a flower set. The best way to use these is with paint, you can use ink, but they seem to soak it up, it stains them. Like I said staining stamps isn't that big of a deal but if you want to keep them cleaner and stuff I would recommend using stamps. Plus it gives them a puffier look and that is kind of what foam stamps are meant for. You just get a little bit of paint that you want to use. Acrylic paint is the best, it is the kind of paint to use because it dries fast and it doesn't leave a big mess and there is so many different colors that you can use. It is very economical, foam stamps are the kind of way to go for economy. But, here is where you just add a little bit of paint to the surface. A foam brush is easy, you can just use a regular paintbrush. If you wanted to you could also just rub it in there but what happens with that is you just tend to get a lot of paint and then you have a bumpy kind of drippy look to your stamps. So I get foam brushes and they are easy to clean and even if you forget to clean them you could just cut off the piece of paint that is dried and you still have a lot of the foam left. Don't worry if you get you know paint anywhere else on the image because the image isn't the only thing that is going to show up. So you just paint it and make sure it is well covered for how you want it to look. And you press down and kind of press hard, with these you don't have to worry so much it catching the edges because the edges are high up and it leaves a image. See it kind of leaves a more funky kind of image than you get with ink, it is not as precise. An ink image is very precise, you are not going to get that with paint, but it does give a fun look and so you see where there is more paint, it will dry a little more bumpier. But it still gives a fun, a fun look and so that is why foam stamps are neat. You can also you know if you wanted to clean this off and put a different color and stamp on top of it and you still have the other image bleeding through in a way that isn't the same with ink. So that is why foam stamps are fun and just look around, they are out every season, there is different ones and you can easily get a good collection of foam stamps."
