"Hi, this is Stephanie and I am going to talk about using date stamps in your scrapbook. Probably the most common form of date stamp that you can get is the kind that you get at the office supply store. They are just the ones that you see when they mark things sold or what the date is. They come in a couple different sizes and you are able just to slide the wheel. The bad thing about some of these is they end at a certain day, like they may only go back a couple of years and go forward for a couple of years, so you have to buy them kind of over and over again. One way that you come about that is you can buy special of course scrapbooking date stamps. This one is a magnet date stamp set. It comes with different years to go back to the eighties up to you know 2017, I think it is and with that one also has words like Thanksgiving or whatever. It is a good way to document, you want to know when things happen, so you can just put the dates on and just slide the dates on, so you know it is January of 1996. You got it and you just stamp it on your pad and you got a date stamp that way. You can also get special sets; this is an acrylic set that is kind of fun where it has like a whole label with the date and everything on it. You just use it like you use acrylic stamps and you just check mark the dates. Here is rubber stamp with layouts that have you know whether it was winter, spring, or just the month, you would stamp it as your image and then circle it. You know adding dates are real important for your scrapbook so you know when things happen. I know my family will say, when did so and so happen and all I will be able to answer and they will be like well how did you know that, because I scrapbooked it and I have the date on it and it is very easy to remember that way. So a date stamp also, sometimes you are just missing one little section of your scrapbook page, it looks like something is needed, grab your date stamp, stamp it and you got a neat little look and it is functional as well. So invest in some good date stamps."
