"Hi my name is Stephanie. I am going to talk about different ink pads you can use for your scrapbooks. Probably the most common pad that you use and the easiest to use is a dye ink. Water based pads, they dry very quickly. They stay moist a lot and they are also good at pooling in the bottom so that you can use the ink. You can add more ink they are inexpensive and easy to use and I use these the most. The second most common is a pigment ink. It can take seriously weeks to dry if you don't use embossing powder or embossing with a heat embosser. So I wouldn't use a pigment ink unless you're planning to emboss. This is an embossing ink pad itself which will soak up the powder. You will only use it if your using an embossing gun. This is a water mark pad what it does is give a resist technique. If you stamp it, you get a clear image. If you rub chalk across it or something else to pick up the color, it doesn't have any color. It's just perfectly clear. It's really neat because it does give that image. This is a spectrum pad it gives you several different colors you can use at once. You can use it with a roller or even just one part of the stamp on each part will give you several colors on the same image. It can be put together so the colors are close or far away like that. Another pad that is very important is stazon. Stazon is the only kind of ink pad you can put on just about any surface. It works on transparencies on buttons on metal. It takes a little longer to dry but it is an integral part of stamping on scrapbooks if you want to add buttons and things that are stamped. But definitely invest in some dye ink books and I think you will be happy. "
