Scrapbooking is a craft that utilizes many different skills—photography, page layout and design. Scrapbooking has been around since people were able to have photos in their possession. It is a way to visually preserve moments, feelings or experiences in your life that might otherwise be written down or forgotten. It all started in 1976 when Marielen W. Christensen began keeping a book of photographs in new devices called sheet protectors. By 1980 she had assembled over 50 of these books and was asked to display them at the World Conference on Records in Salt Lake City. Since then the door of scrapbooking has been opened and flooded by people wanting to find unique ways to remember their pasts and experiences.

"Hi this is Stephanie and I'm going to talk about adding stamps into your scrapbooks. I'm going to go over the different types of stamps the amount of stamps, acrylic stamps, unmounted stamps, foam stamps. I'm going to talk about the different types of inks that there are and the different ways that you can use different pads. There are all different kinds of uses for a ink pad and all different types of pads. I'm going to go over different types of stamps that there are. There is embellishment kinds of stamps, there is alphabets stamps, I'm going to talk about background stamps, using rolling stamp. I'm going to talk about inking your pages and inking items. I'm going to talk about stamping other surfaces you don't just have to stamp on paper you can stamp on different surfaces for different looks. I'm going to talk about other tools that you use on stamping and inking and i"m going to talk about cleaning your stamps cause that is a very important part of taking care of your stamps and making them last for a long time. You got to clean them, take good care of them, I find that stamps are a really good way to add to your scrapbooks cause they can be used with many different colors and they are very economical to that degrees of many different colors and there are very economical to that degree and very fun to use."
