"Hi I'm Sue Rose with Expert Village and today we're making our shell stitch afghan we are now on row 5 which is again I'll repeat this the stitches and the pattern that we have and row 5 is really a repeat of row 2. You start by chaining 6 stitches then you turn and skip the next 4 double chains and you chain do a single chain in there then you do 5 single chains, you skip 2 double chains, you do 5 single chains you do 6 single chains you chain 5, skip 2 double chains and you change 3 you skip and you go in your pattern here and you do one double chain. And you chain 3 you skip that and you skip the next chain 3 space go to the next double chain you skip 1 2 3 4 start one single chain and the next double chain, chain 5 skip 2 chain 5 again skip 3 and continue this throughout the rest of this row, stay tune for our next step on how to make crochet a shell afghan."
