"Hi I'm Sue Rose for Expert Village and today we're making a shell stitch afghan I chained on 164 stitches done one row row 2 which is 9 double chains and now I'm going back on row 3 if the end of row 2 you chain 1 stitch and then you turn and you single chain your first 2 double chains here on the end. Then you chain one and then we're continuing with our pattern across so I'm going into my shell stitch here and I'm going to do double chain, chain one double chain, chain 1 double chain chain 1 I go through all these 9 stitches with a double chain chain one, please watch our next segment for row 3 of this shell afghan."
