"Hi I'm Sue Rose for Expert Village and today we're making a shell stitch afghan I have chained 164 stitches for my base for my afghan and now I'm beginning to do row number one. This afghan has a combination of 5 different rows that you continue to make the afghan so I'm starting I've done my base and now I'm starting with row one and what I do I single chain in the first chain from my hook. In the single chain wrap it around pull it through one and then pull it through 2 and then I chain 3, 1 2 3 chain and I skip the next 2 chains and I single chain in the next stitch. Then I chain 5, 1 2 3 4 5 I skip the next 3 chains 1 2 3 single chain in the next chain chain 5, 1 2 3 4 5 skip the next 2 chains I chain single chain in this one, then I pull it through so that I have 2 3 2 stay tune for the next step."
