"Hi you are back with Sufi here on Expert Village. I am going to work on the arms now. It is nice to get the sheet out of the way as much as possible. I will apply a lot of this as I said earlier so much of this is repetition. Alright you can take a thumb and in my case a finger or you can take two thumbs or a combination it just depends on what feels good on your body. Follow the muscles along the arm and bringing it out through the fingers. It is always good to bring the energy out through the limbs so that way it is all connected. All bodies are different as I mentioned earlier. In this case the forearm has got really prominent muscles and so I am going to focus on the meatier part of the muscle and bring that down. As I said it will vary from client to client. There we go. Now I am going to use a bit of a wringing on this client which is one of my favorite strokes. This is such a connective stroke and wringing usually helps when you use your pelvis to bring the energy in. Again the oil is close to me and I am applying it to my arms. Another thing about massage is it is extremely important to stay hydrated in your body as well as the client?s body. I recommend a lot of water drinking, Gatorade, anything with electrolytes. It is really good for your skin and definitely being a massage therapist takes a lot out of you and that is not so much on a cellular level so you can't see it until later on. Results don't come up until later so I just try to play it safe and drink a lot of water in that respect. Also the oil that is used for massage. It is really good for the skin. Not only am I applying the oil to the client but they are also getting moisturized. You don't have to necessarily use oil, it is up to you. There are a myriad of massage factories and stores where you can buy creams if you like, moisturizers, whatever the client prefers. I actually recommend as a massage therapist that you try different creams and moisturizers just to add a different texture of feeling. I prefer oil because it glides but again this is up to you."

on 8/2/2008 You need to work on your body mechanics very badly. They're very poor and your going to wear you mucles out before long.
