"In addition to silver foil you can find silver comes in several forms. This thin piece of silver is what is called silver bezel. It can be applied to a bead, or it can be applied to a piece of Pyrex or a piece of quartz, to use in a fuming technique which I'll show you later. Basically you can use again a pair of regular scissors to cut the size of bezel that you need. Silver also comes, wow, that's pretty sticky. Silver also comes in a leaf form which is a very, very fine form. Also comes in wire, you can use a silver wire to wrap around your bead. In addition to silver there are other metals that you can use when you're making glass beads. You can use gold leaf, which of course is more expensive, or you can even use palladium. Also, you can use copper, and you can use copper wire, in order, when you heat copper up it turns a ruby red color, and will transfer that effect and the oxidation of those metals will affect the colors of your base glass."
