"Hi I'm Terri Turco with Expert Village. We have just sewn the top of our tote bag. Remember the top, you took the pins out as we made our seams. Okay the next picture here is going to look complicated but it is really really simple. See it is like a little funnel, we have our tote bag. All you are going to do is this is the bottom you are just going to pull it apart and what you see there is the handles. Right! So now it looks like a big casing. Now you are going to take the bottom open it up and pull this in so you have one piece. Okay that was not so bad one piece. Now before we go any further I want to express to you that it is really important at this point to press the seams nice and tight. Cause the next thing we are going to do is enclose the bottom. But you want to make sure that these pieces really come together well and the only way to do that is by pressing the top and making sure it lies flat. So always have your trusty iron ready cause we are sewing and always have to be ironing. "
