"Hi I'm Terri Turco with Expert Village. What we are doing today is making a tuxedo pillow. We are really navigating our way through. First of all we selected our fabric, we add the fabric to the lining, we talked about needles and now finally put those two pieces together. Now we are at the ironing board cause we are going to put the back to the front. What is really important in sewing is not only sewing but ironing. You always want to make sure you press your fabric because it would make a difference of something looking professional or homemade. It is better to say oh yes I made it instead of you made that. So as you see we are at the ironing board and here is our fashion fabric inside out that we have sewn the two sides together. Now this line as you see was the line that we put the lining and the fabric together. This line is the actual putting the pillow together with right sides together. You always want to have the right sides together because you are going to turn it inside out. Now you are going to iron. Once you get those pieces put together now we are going to do something like clipping corners. Clipping corners is exactly how it sounds. You are going to clip the corners so you take away the extra bulk okay. Now if you have a lot of extra little thread here don't worry you are not really going to see that as you turn it inside out. So don't be too worry a lot of fabric do fray, if you want to you can surge them. Surging is basically a machine that really finishes all the ends. But in the mean time if you don't have a surge and you don't have time to finish your ends it's perfectly alright to just iron those ends. Cut off the corners so you don't have extra bulk and then we are going to turn it inside out. When we come back we are going to finally put the stuffing in this pillow. So come back that is one of the best parts."
