"Hi, I'm Terri Turco with Expert Village and today I'm showing you how to make a tuxedo pillow. Now we're going to do this without a pattern but don't get scared. It's going to be easy. A tuxedo pillow basically has this very slim shape but you can make it wider, you can make it longer, you can make it as wide as this. But, what's going to make it a tuxedo pillow is we're going to at the very end, some ribbon. But, I don't want to get you too excited before we get to the end. We've got a little way to go. So, first you are going to make a pattern and you can decide how wide you want your pillow. Now for purposes of this pillow today we've made a pattern that really shows you it's going to be twenty inches long. If you want to make it twenty-five so be it. If you want to make it eighteen, not a problem. If you want a really short one with just one ribbon, you can make it eight inches. And the width is eight inches. Now when I'm showing you length and width, know that you are always going to have an inch inseam. Means, you have to sew the fabric together. So, you want to make sure that you are measuring your pattern big enough so that you allow for the inseam. Now when we come back I'm going to show you how to put the fashion fabric with the lining and then eventually how to pin and put it together so you'd better come back."
