"All right. So, after you've ground the bead release off, you throw your bead back in the kiln. You heat it up, and now we're going to do a fire polish. Now, a fire polish is for the inside of the bead, because when you grind it on that, it leaves the surface smooth, but yet it's all scratchy, and not very.. It doesn't look like the rest of the bead, actually, the color, so we're going to try and melt that in so it just looks normal. And then, basically, pop it back in the kiln and then we're done. All right. I'll grab one of these bad boys. All right. So, basically, you want to be really careful when you do this. I learned the wrong way. When you hold it like this and you're going to put flame in the middle, don't have it be really hot, because you'll just squish your bead. And that sucks. All right. So, basically, we're just going to try and just put the flame right in the middle there. Now, I'm just kind of trying to evenly heat it up. So, basically, you just want that flame to pass through the hole. That way, all those little edges that you kind of got on your bead there, if there's, sometimes when you're making the bead, when you put the glass on the mandrel, you wind up with little, I don't know, just tiny little edges that can be sharp, or they're not with the overall idea of the bead, so it doesn't look smooth. This will just even it out. I'm just going to try and squish in this area. The fire polishing really doesn't take all that long either, so don't try and over do it. Flame polished."
