How to Use a Fire pit for a Bonfire

"Ok, now that we are ready to prepare our fire pit, before we lay down our base layer of flamables, what we want to do is we just want to come in and rake it out, make sure that it's nice and level, get any debris that might be left over from the last fire that you had previously. Just to make it, your job, alot easier. So we're just going to come in, and we're going to rake it out, and we're going to get any of this, see all of this debris; some leaves and some old wood, you could probably leave that in here, but if you do happen to come in and rake it out and you find that you are going to do something with the debris, you don't want it in there. You rake it up into a pile and you are going to get rid of it. What you might want to make sure that you do, is make sure that there are no burning embers, that there is no warm debris at all. And the best way to do that would be to just to even to even kind of putting your hand in there to make sure. Otherwise, put in a steel bucket for storage, and that way you can prevent any fires."
