"This is Vicki Walker for Expert Village. I'm preparing in this clip the white black out fabric that would keep the light from shining through the valance once line the valance with this. I have measured I'm beginning to measure 17 inches is the width that we need. I'm going to mark this and then cut all the way. Black our fabric can be very helpful rather to by extra fabric. Especially if you are using expensive decorator fabric. You might want to consider this as a alternative and it would keep the light from shining through. It is a good product and very easy to work with. One more pin and I cut the black out fabric and we would be ready to start on the attaching the black out fabric to the main part of the valance. Get the scissors. There they are. That is all there is to prepare the black out fabric. I would continue this and we would be back to the next clip to connect the black out fabric to the valance the front part of the valance."
