"Hi! My name is Shawna. In this clip, we’re going to talk about how to do a…it’s kind of like a mock drawstring waistband. There’s no elastic involved, just the drawstring. So this works well for bags of course with the drawstrings, and I actually like them on pants because they’re easy to adjust. I’m just going to make my casing by folding if down and I could press. I can fold it down once and I’m going to fold it down again, but at the front I’m going to leave it open just a bit so that it will be the place that I can put run my drawstring through. I’ll just keeping rolling that as I go. Of course, if I were to press it it would be much easier. Just a straight stitch down all the way around. So I run that to the back and at the front portion where I backstitched a few times, I can just clip that extra piece off and run my drawstring through that hole right there. So as I get all the way back around and then I come back out that hole, then I would have my drawstring waistband."
