Finishing the Luggage Tags

"Hi! I'm Shelly Cordsen with expertvillage.com. We are now sewing around our luggage tag. We are going to catch our handles. We have our plastic here. I just laid the plastic on top and kind of held it until I got to sewing it. Remember we double stitched as the plastic started. Sticking a pin through the plastic will leave a hole in it. I've made a lot of these and tried to figure out the best way. To me it's just to sew it all at one time, and it does pretty good. I'm going to finish up here. I'm coming to the edge of my plastic. I'm going do locking stitches, come up to my corner. Now I'm going to catch my luggage tags handles. That's also sewing up that opening that we have there when we turned our tag. We are officially finished with our tag. Our tag is completed, but a tag isn't totally complete until we have our name and information on this tag. Otherwise, what good does it do. Take an index card. I've cut mine 2 1/4 x 4. Any length you want. Just insert it. Actually, I cut mine too big on this one. I'll just trim it down. It's just an index card because it's light weight, got your lines. So now you'll put your name, address, phone number, all the information you have here, but you don't necessarily want everybody knowing that information. Being a stamper I am, I stamped the other side of mine. Now it matches the tag. Face that inside out, and then you're ready to go. Now there is no doubt who's luggage tag this is. "
