on 4/23/2009 I thought the video's VERY helpful and instructive..Sheryl made making soap seem so easy and fun. Although I had trouble finding the correct order to play the video's, the different video's were all mixed up.

"All the time we have been working with oils and preparing molds, this lye water has been cooling down and I turned off the heat when everything started to melt here and since then I have just been monitoring the temperature so each has been cooling down. Now I want to get them both in the range of 110 degrees. Some times you get lucky and we actually are doing a pretty good job this time and they are cooling about to the rate where they are both at the same spot. Other times there is a disparage of temperature and you can use a water bag to either heat or cool each element. It is very important that you don’t put your lye in the microwave or stove top but you can put it in a bath of warm water. If you need to heat it up if it gets a little too cold or you can put it in cold water if you need to cool it down. Likewise this can be put in cool or hot water to adjust the temperature slightly. So the key to this step is equalizing the temperature. Let me double check. They are both equalized. I have had both thermometers in the liquid not quite touching the bottom but the bulb of the thermometer has been completely covered. Now we will just pour these together. The key to this is going to be pouring a very slow stream. You just want to gently blend them together."
