Video Transcript

"Welcome to the Bead Bar in Orlando, Florida. My name is Sonia and I am here in part for Expert Village to maybe get you a little more comfortable with the beading process. I would like to maybe talk a little bit about inspiration. It is very common when someone walks into the store for them to get intimidated. One thing I want to reassure everybody is that first of all you can’t really go wrong. Truly you are constructing your piece to make you happy, okay, and sometimes that inspiration may come just from a single strand of beads. You may pick up strand of pearls and go oh my gosh! This is what I want to do. Sometimes some of the beads are beautiful all by themselves. You don’t really have to add anything else, simply restring them and add a clasp. Sometimes your inspiration may come from catalogues, magazines, a movie; a piece you have seen someone wear. Al of these things help feed that creativity in you, so my biggest advise is just don’t be afraid, get out there, have fun with it, and get creative. "
