Children are constantly looking for things to stimulate their minds and bodies. They use their senses to explore the world and crafts are an excellent way to help them create something while exploring their senses of touch and sight. Bright colors stimulate the creative half of their brains while different sizes and shapes of smaller crafts stimulate their sense of touch. This is an excellent form of self-expression as well. A child is able to convey through art what he or she might not be able to verbally.
In this free video series you will learn several easy and fun ideas for your child to participate in that will challenge him or her and bring their creativity to the surface. It will walk you step by step through each craft and tell you what materials you will need as well as give you alternatives to certain types of materials. This fifteen video series will keep you and your Toddler occupied for hours of fun and creativity and give your child something to be proud of once he or she is done.
" Today I am going to show you on how to make a collage for toddlers. The first thing that you should do is gather different materials and you can use a smaller piece of construction paper or a bigger piece. For the toddlers, you probably want a bigger piece so they have more room to work on. The materials that I have gathered to make the collage is a bottle of glue, these are just bone shapes, there is heart, circles and squares, just small pieces of yarn, different colored crayons, some colored doodles, scrap pieces of construction paper, shriveled up like shredded paper, pom-poms and some feathers. The first thing you would want to do after you have gathered the materials and the paper is just sit down with your child or a toddler that you are with and make sure it is like a hard surface that they can work on and then just help them with the glue to open it and just let them grab materials and show them how to glue it. My final collage looked like this. Hope you enjoy creating a collage with your toddler. "
