"Sometimes you like a little extra light or a little bit of a spotlight on something in your diorama. Well, to do that you need to cut a little skylight out of the top part of your diorama. So, here, I'm going to mark off a little square. I'm not going to make a big square. Actually, I'm going to make a rectangle. So, I'm going to just mark that off with my light colored pencil and then I'll cut out the top of the box. Now, I need you to take care when you do this because you're not on a flat surface, so you make one strike through, two strikes through. Make as many as you need to, my exacto knife went through. I'm going to do this on this side as well. You don't have to be heavy handed, you can do it a couple of times. Because if you're really heavy handed, you'll break the box. I've now made two cuts. These cuts are going to be a little bit harder so take your time. Just press down gently it will eventually go through. Also, I'm feeling how the cardboard is constructed on this box so I may have to go down and saw it just a little bit. There, I'm through. This is going to be the hardest cut because all your other sides are cut. I'm feeling the corrugated part of the cardboard, I'm going to stick this through and it should be through. Now sometimes the sides stick or they don't. So, there we go, there is your little skylight into your diorama."
