"This is Randall Powell for Expert Village and in this video clip we are going to talk about how to register the rope at any local roping's. If it is just someone's backyard arena, they are having a fun roping, you don't need any kind of cards. Team roping has got to where they have classification systems where they will give you a number based on how well you rope. There is the USTRC, the OTRA, TRA. There are all kinds of organizations you can call to get a card to become a member of their organization. When you do that, they will give you a classification number so that when you show up to their roping, you can rope without any problem. You know the US Roping are probably the bigger roping's and the PRCA are the professional cowboys, so you have to fill permits to get that kind of a card. But just for an average everyday roper, you can go and look in your daily times, your Superlooper magazine or go to any feed stores and you can get the numbers for these organizations to sign you up to become a member for their organization to start roping's. When you get to the roping's, you just go. There is an entry office and go there and find you a partner. If you don't have any partners or don't know people, you can tell them there at the entry office and usually they will help you out and find partners so you can rope in their roping's. So maybe that will help you guys when you are ready to start going to the roping's. "
