"Hi my name is Tony and on behalf of Expert Village this is how to use your GPS basic addition of course. Let's go. Chapter 2 turning on and acquiring a satellite on your GPS. The unit that we are going to be using here is the Tom Tom 1, the power button is located on the top right. What you do is simply reach up, simple press the button and hold until it lights up. Once it lights up go ahead and let go, let it do its thing. Right now it is acquiring the satellite this usually takes anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. It is actually looking up in the sky trying to find everything to triangulates your location exactly where you are. After everything is loaded the colors would change on this specific unit and you would be able to begin from there. So right now it says no route has been planned but the satellite has been acquired so that is the first thing that we do."
