Today in this clip, we are going to talk about what to feed a goat, what goats like to eat and what is good for a goat to eat. A lot of people think that a goat will eat anything. Some times that is true. Mostly what we feed our goats is a blend of corn, cotton seed. Cotton seed has a lot of pallet which means it sticks to the goat and builds muscle. So corn and cotton seed is a good part of minerals. We feed different kinds of minerals. You can check any feed store and they will tell you basically what kind of minerals they need in that area. Goats are browsers. They like leaves, oak leaves, any kind of sherry brush is good to raise goats in. Protein is a good part in raising a show goat especially because it puts meat on them. We feed protein blocks. We try to feed these in a feeder up off the ground. A goat is not exactly house broke so they are liable to do things in their feed that you are not out to want them to do. That is basically what we feed our goats and I hope this has helped you.
