on 10/29/2009 The purse video was helpful, but I was wondering why you didn't hold the finished purse up to show what the purse looked like when it was finished.

"Once you have your Velcro on, you are ready to fold your purse up. Like I said, I like to put mine so that the top starts just before your strap. You can do it up like this, but it makes for a much flatter looking purse, this gives you a little more fullness to the purse. And try to line up the edges because you want to make sure you go through both pieces of material, or both sides of the material, front and back. And then just sew right along those. Once again I try to kind of stay close to the edge, I always stitch up and down a couple times because this is going to be where most of the pressure's going to be on this purse. Then you can just work your way down the side. We're going to do the same thing on the other side. If you want to have a little more finished edge, you can always do a fancy zigzag or a specialty stitch on the side to finish off the edges a little more. And that is how you do that! And then all you have to do is cut all your strings off and you have your own homemade patchwork purse."
