"Now we are going to attach the Velcro, you're going to want to fold up your purse and get an idea of where you're going to want it to go. You want to remember there will be stuff in the purse, so you never want to put it down too low. I usually put the rougher side on the top just so that way when you're putting stuff in your purse it doesn't usually catch on it. You can try to pin it, but I have found that they're not easy to pin, and a lot of times the pin will knock it kind of crooked while you're sewing, so what I usually try to do is just kind of guesstimate where it needs to go. I can feel on the other side there was that center piece so I'm going to just kind of stay on that center piece or thereabouts. Then you're just going to stitch very, very close to the edge, I'd say about an eighth of an inch from the edge of the Velcro. Go around all four sides, pivot on the corners, careful not to overrun the Velcro. And with the other piece of Velcro you're going to do the same thing with, since we already have one piece on, we have to make sure it's going to hit where we put the Velcro. So what I usually do is lay out my purse, fold this down, and I usually hold this so that the strap lays flat down and fold it down here. And it only makes about an inch difference, but with that inch you will allow a lot more room in your purse. And I'm going to look at where it needs to go, I'm going to say about there, maybe a little lower. On this side it's a lot easier to line up because I've already got a piece in the middle, that gives me a good guide."
