Pinning Strap onto Purse

"Okay, once you have you strap completed, you're going to want to make sure, if it poked a hole in the end, you want to make sure you take off the hole unless it's at the very edge, because then it'll end up on the inside. Then you want to make sure that it is the right length. Now, you figure, the top of your purse is going to sit just above where your straps are, so I'm going to cut mine so that it sits right about there. So I'm going to cut off this little bit of excess. Then, you find your holes in your purse for your straps and you pin them right in there. This makes a nice finished edge, and that way you don't have your strap attached on the outside. And you want to make sure you have it so it's not twisted. Go around into the other side. This is the part where you really want to make sure you have them even, because this is one thing you'll really notice if they're not even. The straps will pull really weird. Oops. So what I'm going to do is stick it in there and hold it in place and fold it over. And I'm going to check from this edge up to where the strap is going in, that it's exactly even. Or to the best of my ability. And pin it in place. And that's how you get the straps in."
