"Ok. Once you have all your materials picked out, make sure when you buy them you pay attention to how they need to be washed. Because it will be the next step. With working with patterns like this, it's always best to wash them first. Because, it will shrink and it will make it all puckered if you don't wash and dry it. Drying obviously, depending on the fabric you bought. Then, in the final step would be to iron it. And, there again you wan to make sure you paid attention when you bought it so you don't iron on the wrong setting. You always try to use the coolest setting that you can get away with anyway. Because it's just easier on the fabric. You want to try to always kind of start from the center and push the wrinkles out. And, once you get it all ironed you're ready to gather your supplies and start cutting your squares."
