"Hi, I'm Molly Mackey with Expert Village. Now we are going to talk about the symbols Venus and Mercury. Venus is a planet of love and it can also be associated with indulgences, pleasures, just anything that you find pleasurable or loving, depending on where it falls in your chart. Those are going to be the things that you are going to tend to really regard highly. The symbol for Venus is this here, it is just a simple circle with a cross underneath. It can be easily confused with this next symbol that is why it is very important that we memorize these. So this is Venus in the symbol. Next we have Mercury which is very similar to Venus as I said. It is a circle with a cross the only difference is it has little horns on the top. Mercury is sort of the clever planet. It's the planet that rules all communications and basically that is how you communicate, how it lies in your chart. "
