For the preparation of the clay, waging is the most important part. This is earthenware and this is stoneware, earthenware is a little blackish in color and this is whitish in color. Now, press the clay in such a way so that there should be no air-bubbles left in it. If any bubbles left in it, it will crack at the time of firing. The technical term of pressing and squeezing is called waging. It is very important for making the clay smoother, because smooth clay is easier for making any difficult shape. We can prepare different kinds of bowls and cups after waging the clay nicely. Now, I think you can understand the process of waging and do it very carefully. Thank you."
