"On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Natalia Paruz, also known as "the saw lady." You can find me in New York City, and today I'm going to teach you how to play a saw. You can hold the blade in the most popular position, which is with the teeth facing you. Then you will be bowing on the other side. Do not try to bow on the teeth side, because you're not going to have a bow very long. Some people prefer to hold the saw the opposite way with the teeth facing the audience, and bowing again, where there are no teeth. Some people like to reach the high notes by bending the blade down, whereas some bend it while holding it up without the need to bend the entire body down. The sound is the same. "
