"Hi, my name is Nicole and today we’re going to be going over the basics of making jewelry and wire wrapping, and an integral part of making jewelry are findings. Basically findings are the hardware that holds jewelry together. And I just want to show you a wide variety of the findings you can find at your local jewelry store. An important part of jewelry is having a clasp which will basically hold the jewelry together. This is an example of a claw clasp. You can also find headpins which will hold jewelry together when you’re making earrings. These are valley beads which you can include in a strand or if you’re wire wrapping. This is an example of a charm. And if you’re making earrings, you have a wide variety of ear wires to choose from. These are just typical hoop ear wires, and you can also find smaller ones that will clasp together. These are many findings you can use when you’re making jewelry."
