Video Transcript

"This is a good array of fruits and vegetables from a local grower. This is a good opportunity for folks to buy locally grown produce. It's a great way to support your local farmers, your local economy; you get fresher fruits and vegetables. Generally, they taste better because you've gotten them soon after they are picked. They can be less expensive, so it is a way to save money. You would find these at your local farmer's market. Although, there are some grocers do carry locally produced fruits and vegetables. Also, when they are picked sooner and you get them fresher, you are able to retain more of the minerals and vitamins. Whenever possible, look for that Farmers Market in your area because you will love what you find that you wouldn't find at the grocery store. It's a great opportunity to eat well."
