"One way that you can work to save money and sometimes space, is buying in bulk. Some stores offer you the option of buying specific amounts, either small or large, of different staple items. I think the key to buying them in bulk is that you buy the items that you need and you eat most frequently. So they could be flour, sugar, nuts, raisins. You've got beans and rice. So these are things that can keep. They generally have a longer shelf life to them. Sure. You can either buy them in smaller amounts, depending on what your needs are. And obviously you can keep them in various types of containers. And then what is the purpose to buying paper goods in bulk? Sure paper goods in bulk are a good idea on occasion, if you have the storage space. That's the key. Making sure you have enough room to accommodate 10 rolls of paper towels or 25 rolls of. You can put them in your garage. Oh sure. Things like napkins if you have to buy paper napkins and that. Those are convenient. What is the idea behind the 3 R's in buying in bulk? How does that Reduce Reuse Recycle, right? It's more from an efficiently standpoint, so you have less packaging per unit. And that's the key; instead of these being packaged individually you are packaging them all together, so you have less overall packaging. These are of course plastic. Right. Some of them I haven't seen too many that are in a paper type material but obviously it's a very small amount. That makes a lot of sense. Yeah. Thanks for that tip."
