"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Pat Louis here in Miami, Florida. I'm going to teach you today how to put together an act. Now as a singer you're going to have about 13-15 songs ready to go. That is just in case you have to do any more than 45 minutes which is an average time for someone to ask for you to perform. But sometimes they might put you into an hour depending on the venue if it's a larger venue or a smaller venue that type of thing. Maybe you have those perimeters that you have to deal with so it's good to have extra way to get from one song to the other if it's a track on a CD it's just a matter of setting the right track number and hitting the button to start to play. Another thing that is always good is if you can create something that is unique for instance if you might take a song that is know by everyone, you can change the lyrics a little bit. This one is one that Joe Andrews did just to give you an idea this is from the Sound of Music it goes, (singing) something like that something that you might write it will help to make it a lot different."
