"Today we're going to talk about making an extender chain. An extender chain are really great for necklaces, especially when you're making a necklace for someone that you're not quite sure now long their neck is or how long they want their bracelet to be. It gives them the option to make it a little longer. Here we have a necklace that's almost done. I just need to put an end piece and I thought I'd add an extender chain. This is a very long chain and I can take about a 1/4 of it or just a very small piece of it to make an extender chain. I'll cut this off and add it to the end of my piece that will connect to the hoop. It'll help to give that person to make this just a little bit longer. You don't have to buy a store bought extender chain. You can actually just make your own with very small jump rings to give it to not have to spend the extra money. Extender chains are a great way to finish a new necklace. That's how you make an extender chain."
