"We're going to learn how to make the most basic item for jewelry making. You can use this in earrings, bracelets, anything. This is called a jump ring. Down here I'm going to show you an example of this. I'm going to take a very small piece of wire or a larger piece, depending on how big you want your jump rings to be. I'm going to make a relatively small one, so I'm going to use my all in one pliers. Once again, if you don't have all in one pliers, you're going to use your wire cutter. I'm going to make a complete circle out of this small piece of wire. I grab this at the very end at my fat part of the pliers and start to curve this around in a circular shape. I'm using my thumb to guide around. I want to guide around enough till I can get a complete circle. If you don't make a complete circle, you can still cut off your excess wire. Then you can frame this out so that the 2 pieces connect to make your jump ring. There you have a a jump ring."
