"Today we're going to learn how to make earrings using a straight pin. You'll see it has kind of a pointy end. For safety sake, we're going to go ahead and cut that off like so. It has a ball already on the end. This is really going to help you keep your beads into place. We're going to add one bead and another bead. The good thing about this is it actually looks like a bead. It not only is it holding your beads into place, it actually is saving you a little money on buying beads. We're going to take this extraneous end part, cut that off, and then we're going to just curve this around to make our hook. I'm going to leave that a little open, and then you can just put your earring hook right there and you have your earring."
