on 11/17/2009 too far away and we can't see what you are doing which is a shame. And when you show it to the camera, you aren't in frame.
No idea what your 'butterfly' looks like.

"Today we're going to learn how to make a basic butterfly. You're going to start with about a 4 inch piece of wire. Make sure that the wire is 24 gage or lower because you have to have a very firm piece of wire. You're going to take your round nose pliers and grab at the very end. First off what you want to do is get used to this movement with your wrist turning the wire like this. It's very odd if you've never tried it before, but you'll get used to it after a while. You can grab it at whatever part of the pliers you'd like. If you like them bigger, obviously, you want to go to the wider part of your pliers. Smaller, up higher. You're going to start with that wrist motion, and you're going to guide it with your thumb. Once your piece of wire hits the next wire and you've made a complete loop, you're going to put your pliers right next to that loop and start curving the opposite way. Just tighten that up. That's the beginning. You're going to do the same thing going the opposite way. What you will end up with when all is said and done is a little butterfly."
