"And in this clip I'm going to show you how to place your design on your shirt. A lot of times you'll just want to place it in the center, as I've done with this shirt. Sometimes you'll want to vary it. I've put it on the back, its still centered, its a nice area to print on, there's nothing blocking it, seams or buttons or anything. Whereas on this shirt, you've got a seam right here. And you can't screen print on a seam, because it will mess up your design. So I had to drop it down, make sure it was low enough. Such as if you were going to print on the front of this, you wouldn't be able to print anywhere on this pocket, because its too bumpy. You want to go where it's nice and flat. You could do a print down here in this area, and just avoid running your screen over the top of snaps or buttons or anything like that. And that's how you place a design for screen printing."
