"Hi. I'm Melina and welcome to Expert Village. Today we're going to learn how to make a paper star lantern. In this next step, we're going to cut out our star points. One way that you can do this is cut each one out one by one. Me personally, I like to cut out two at a time, the reason being that way I get an exact cut. I get the same exact cut for each star. So if you think that you can hold on to the paper while you cut, and you have a good grip on it, than you can cut out two at a time. And one little trick that you can do, if you want to make sure that your paper doesn't move, you can tape the edges of your paper and it will make sure that it doesn't move while you cut. So you're going to line up your pieces and then you're going to take your tape and just tape the edges and make sure that you don't tape on to your star points. Use four pieces on each side. You're going to take your scissors, and you're going to cut out everywhere you have a solid line. It should be all the outer edges of your star. Make sure that you don't cut on the dotted line. That's where we're going to fold. You're going to take each piece, you're going to cut right in between these two flaps right up until this center point on each piece."
