"So now we're ready to put stuff down, glue it down. I have some glue here, simple rubber cement. You want to make sure that what's on the bottom is glued down first. Obviously, you don't want to glue down something on top if you still need something to put underneath of it. Right now I see that this white piece is going to go on the bottom, so I'm just going to kind of get a mental image of how things were laid out, and move things out so I can get to the pieces on the bottom. If you have full glue can, there's usually quite a bit of buildup on the stick with the brush at the end. I'm just going to kind of wipe it against the edge. You don't want too much, but you want enough to where you don't have to keep dipping it. The edges are the most important part. As long as there?s a little glue in the middle, the edges will hold it down. I'm just going to kind of lightly brush along the edges, and again, there's different types of glue. I found the brush cap to be the easiest. You don't want to have every inch covered, but it's good to have a thorough base of your glue. I want to get a little more here. Again, make sure you're doing this in a well ventilated area. This glue has a little bit of fumes coming out of it. If you're in a small place, or in a bedroom, make sure you have a window open or a fan going, or something, so you don't get blasted by the glue scent. As I get things done, I'm going to adhere them to the backing. I remembered I like the plane, so I'm going to have that on this side. Just press flat with the palm of your hand. I'm going to go ahead and glue the other pieces right now."
