"Once you picked your frame then you need to pick a matte board that is going to become comfortable with the pieces of what your framing is. As well as comfortable with the room that you are going to be putting it in, this particular customer has a lot of blue in her room. So I choose two different color blue to show her just to show her if she had a clue. I personally like the more subdue blue than the brighter blue it tends to give you a lot of color with your piece on this particular piece. I think it will be real nice piece in a room. All sides have to be covered with a matte board so that you have a solid color base to start with. If your pieces are very busy, you want to pick a more plain piece of matte board if they are very plain you might want to think about getting something with a little bit more character to it, a little bit more design. There is a lot of matte boards out there to choose from. It's just a matter of picking the one that fits you."
