"Hi, I'm Melina and welcome to Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to make a beautiful necklace out of polymer clay. Now the next thing that we are going to do is we are going to add the holes to our purple beads. It is a little bit tricker cause now you have a little bit longer to go. You are dealing with a oval bead and there is more of a tendency for the bead to misshape as you go through. So you want to make sure that you have a good grip on the bead. Not too tight and you want to go in slowly and twist around and you can actually move the bead instead of the poker. You would have a less chance of ruining the bead. What would happen often with these oval beads is very hard to get beads center on the other side. You can see that I'm a little bit off. But not too much I'm a little bit off and that is fine. But you don't want to be caution of that it is going to be harder to get to the exact center because you are going a longer distance. "
