"Hi, I'm Melina and welcome to Expert Village. Today we are going to make a beautiful mushroom and butterfly incense holder out of polymer clay. In this next step we're going to attach the butterfly to the mushroom. So we're going to take our mushroom, which is one the foil where we're going to bake, and we're going to take our butterfly and we're going to fold the wings up a little bit, not too much. Now, if you go to fold the wings up and you notice that they're flopping over you're going to go ahead and put your butterfly aside and let the femo harden a little bit. As you work with it it gets really soft and it gets really warm and sometimes it gets too warm and then it becomes unworkable. So if you go to fold the wings over and they're flopping over put it aside and come back to it in about ten minutes. Then you're going to find a nice spot on your mushroom. And then you're going to take your poker and you're going to scratch up the side, you're going to cross-hatch just like we've attached everything else. And you're going to cross-hatch the bottom of the butterfly. So we're going to put glue on the cross-hatch and we're going to take our butterfly and we're going to press it in. Now you may lose a little of the grooves on the body, but that's fine because we'll just do them over. Keep your wings folded down so that they can be seen. There we go."
