How to Add Cane Decorations for Your Polymer Clay Bowl

"Hi, I'm Melina, and welcome to Expert Village. Today we're going to make a polymer clay bowl. In this next step, we're going arrange our cane slices around the bowl. Now, if you've sliced your cane and you notice that you do get some blurry pieces, don't slice the whole thing blurry, try to change your tool. Use a razor blade, use a different knife. Use whatever you can until you get a nice, clean slice. So, now that we have our clean slices, we're going to start placing them around the bowl. And, what you want to do is, you want to take your poker tool, and you want to take some Sculpty glue. And this is not necessarily... you don't need to put the glue, but if you have it, use it. So, I'm going to make a little mark, I'm going to add some glue, and I'm going to mark my cane slice, and I'm going to stick it right there. And then I'm going to go all around, marking and gluing, until I have a nice... until I have all my cane slices attached to the bowl. And you can see what a lovely bowl this going to turn out to be."
