How to Teach Fairness to Bullies

"Hello, my name is Melisa Schenk on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to talk about how to deal with a bully. In this clip let's talk about the character value fairness. To define the word fairness of course, a lot of kids will say equality, treating everyone in a just and accepting manner. If you think of the word fairness, walk a mile in someone's shoes. Have you ever thought of what it would be like to live someone else's life for a day? Sometimes you've heard of the saying "to judge a book by its cover" or we judge a book by its cover. When treating someone fairly, are you judging them before you actually know them? So when we're talking about how to deal with a bully, well fairness is a very, very large topic to be covering. My advice to you is make connection with people that you view as trust worthy. That also share your interest. In our next clip this leads us in towards honesty."
