"Hello I'm weather announcer Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village today we're going to be talking about the weather. In this clip we're going to talk about adding meaning full information to your forecast if you we're to present the weather on television here's some of the things that your audience is interesting in the most. And of course the purpose of forecasting is honestly for life saving and money saving purposes it really is to plan in advance to plan your trips in advance to plan where your going and what your doing in advance. So it really is for money saving and life saving purposes so your audience is really interested in 5 key points, when and how much is it going to rain or snow. How would temperatures change in the next few days, how much sunshine or cloud cover will we get, how windy is it, and how would the wind make you feel meaning how strong is the wind and finally five what is air quality and that is especially relevant to most large cities. Now something else to keep in mind to add a bit of color to your forecast somethings that you might want to think about if you were to be presenting the weather for instance. So if you we're to do a weather forecast here are 10 things that you might add to your forecast to make it more interesting and more meaningful. So one what's your sunrise and whats the sunset that's also are always important many people always want to know that. Any weather trivia for that particular day or any weather facts what kind of impact does the weather have, perhaps on any sort of sporting event or community event going on in your city or r your region. Of course for very important severe weather preparation of course if your in an area that is that your tracking an hurricane or a tornado. And five the impact on weather on an international event of course, if there's anything like a major golf tournament or sporting event, or something of up most importance that everyone in the world may know about. And anything that you can add to a personal experience with the weather event maybe you have a personal weather story that will make it more interesting.
