Since the beginning of time man has sought to predict the weather accurately and precisely. Today with all the technology and electronic instruments we have at our disposal we are more accurate than ever at predicting not only rain and precipitation but also himidity, temperature, cold and warm fronts, pressure systems and much more. I can find out the pressure levels in Austin, the temperature in Guam and how humid the Amazon rain forest is with just the click of a mouse. Although there have been vast improvements in technology and remarkable discoveries over the past several decades we are still only scratching the surface of learning how this planet operates and how we, as humans, effect it.

"Hello I'm weather announcer Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village today we're going to be talking about the weather. In this clip we're going to talk about being your own forecaster if weather is your passion be sure that you probably visited many websites on weather but, in each of these clips what we're going to do is offer you some suggestions on varies websites that you might be able to visit and then help you become your own forecaster. Now learning this skill of forecasting of weather forecasting doesn't occur over night predicting the weather it does take time and it does take a lot of practice. You do definitely start to climb through the various stages of course as you can see here you would want to take some sort of course in meteorology. You would want to do your research and you move into more on your experience and then you'll eventually become a respected experience forecaster. So as I said being your own forecaster doesn't happen over night some thing you can definitely do at home as well. You can compare your forecast perhaps to those who you see on television so as I mentioned these various upcoming clips I'm going to teach you some clips and techniques on we'll call it on weather predictions on one and one working to look for and how to do forecast your own on weather forecasting your cities and what to look for and how to read maps."
